House Guidelines for Le Sol House & Château Le Sol

Membership to Le Sol requires adherence to accepted standards of conduct and the House rules to safeguard the use and enjoyment of our properties, Le Sol House and Château Le Sol, by its members and their guests. In the rules, we will refer to that company as Le Sol. 

 

1. Le Sol 

Each member contracts with Le Sol, and Le Sol reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change the Le Sol company with whom a member contracts from time to time. Le Sol will inform each member when we confirm your membership approval and/or renewal. Additionally, Le Sol reserves the right to charge members a one-time initiation fee due at the time of membership acceptance and joining, The right to amend or waive any such fees shall be at Le Sol’s discretion. Le So also reserves the right to terminate the membership at any point if House rules and policies are violated. 

 

2. Membership Application

The Le Sol Team meets weekly to review applications and admit new members as space is available. The Le Sol Team shall have sole discretion as to who shall become a member of Le Sol. You are free to withdraw your application at any time. Should you wish to do so, please contact katherine@lesol.co

 

If your membership application is accepted, we will confirm this by sending you a ‘Welcome to Le Sol’ email. Your monthly membership will commence on the date your ‘Welcome to Le Sol’ email is sent.

 

3. Proposing New Members

Members are welcome to propose new applicants to join Le Sol. You can email us their information and tell them to fill out our application at www.lesol.co/membership.

 

4. Out-of-Town Discount

If a member lives 25 miles away from Le Sol properties, they qualify for a 15% discount. This can be discussed before the first monthly payment is made.  

5. Membership Commitment and Cancellation

There is a 6-month membership commitment. After this period, the member can cancel their membership on a month-to-month basis, however, we require a 30-day cancellation notice. If a member would prefer to pay for the whole year upfront, this can be discussed at the time of membership approval. Refunds for any payments will be at the discretion of Le Sol.

 

6. Membership Portal

It is important for us to have your current details, plus a photograph of you in your membership portal. By becoming a member of Le Sol, you agree that we can hold your personal details and a photograph to use in connection with your membership. If your contact or payment details change, please let us know via email, as you will have to repurchase the membership at the end of the billing cycle with a new card. 

 

7. Membership Payment

Upon approval or renewal of your membership, your membership fees become payable immediately. It is within our discretion to amend our membership fees at any time, and we will notify you in advance if there are to be any changes to the amount, date, or frequency of the payment of your membership fees.

 

Failure to pay monthly dues will result in the member not being able to have access to their membership benefits, and if payment is not resolved immediately, the membership being suspended or terminated.

 

We will ask to add the member’s credit card on file in our Square system for anything purchased on-site.

 

8. Member Sign-In

We will begin requiring all members to sign in/check-in for themselves and their guests at our properties when they arrive on-site. 

 

9. Guests

Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with them to Le Sol House. Members are permitted to bring one guest with them to Château Le Sol and are able to request a second guest pass for a cost of $40. However, if space is reaching capacity, we will give priority to our members. 

 

A member’s guests may not enter the properties without the member being present, and members may not allow their guests to remain at the properties when they leave. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all House rules and policies. If a guest violates House rules or policies, the member will face suspension. 

 

10. Children

The Le Sol properties are designed for adults, however, Le Sol House aims to be child-friendly. Please be considerate of other members when you bring children, who count as part of your guest allowance, to Le Sol House. Your children are your responsibility at all times when present in the space. Children are not allowed at Château Le Sol.

 

11. Dogs

We only allow staff members’ dogs on our properties since they are already familiar/comfortable with our members and chickens and vice versa. We will make exceptions for legally recognized and certified service dogs.

 

12. Privacy for Members/Guests

We value the privacy of our members and their guests. If you are not personally acquainted with another member, please refrain from disturbing them in ways the staff may deem inappropriate. Members will be held accountable if they or their guests disclose or identify any other members or guests who are on Le Sol properties in the public domain, whether to press or on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and personal blogs. 

 

13. Noise Levels/Audio

When inside either Le Sol House or Château Le Sol’s interior spaces, movies, videos, songs, phone calls, presentations, and all other audio must be played through headphones and should not be audible to any other member or guest present. 

 

Additionally, all members and their guests are asked to respect our nearby residents by being quiet when entering, leaving, and enjoying/using the properties. 

 

14. Confidentiality

Le Sol management and all staff members are required to adhere to the strictest confidentiality standards and pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning the members and their guests in the strictest confidence.

 

15. Illegal Drugs/Substances/Items

No member or guest shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do any of the same with any member or guest. No member or guest shall ask any Le Sol staff for illegal drugs or other substances while on Le Sol premises, or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any of the actions above prove true, the relevant member and/or guest will be removed from the properties, and the membership in question will be terminated.

 

16. Smoking Policy

All members and their guests are obligated to abide by Le Sol’s smoking policy, and to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. No smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) are allowed inside Le Sol House or Château Le Sol. 

 

Le Sol reserves the right to designate certain outside areas as smoking areas and to change the location of such areas at any time. However, all members and their guests are requested to respect the wishes of other members and their guests with respect to smoking and to refrain from smoking when requested to do so.

 

17. Bills

All retail, food, and beverage bills must be settled in full before leaving the properties. Members are responsible for their guests’ bills if they are left unpaid. 

 

18. Food and Beverages

Members are allowed to bring outside food and beverage (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) to Le Sol House and Château Le Sol, however, we ask that you please respect other members when and where you consume outside food and beverages. 

 

19. Security

Members and their guests should be aware that for safety reasons, we use security cameras on both properties. Le Sol staff members will always be on-site at both properties during our open hours. 

 

20. Private Event Booking, Le Sol Property Maintenance, Holidays

We may at times close all or part of our properties to members and their guests for private events, for necessary maintenance, repair, or redecoration work, or for certain holidays/holiday weekends. 

 

Where all or part of the properties is closed for maintenance, repair, or redecoration work, or where we need to withdraw facilities or services because we consider that they may pose a risk to the health or safety of our members, guests or staff, or that they are detrimental to the business, we will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practicable.

 

21. Le Sol Events, In-House Marketing & Photography

While you are a member or a guest at our properties, we may ask you to give your views of, and experiences at Le Sol. We may also film, video, or photograph our member events and activities at our spaces for use in our membership programs, as well as advertising, promotions, public relations, and other commercial/business purposes. If you take part in these events, you agree to us using your image and limited other information. You also consent to us publishing any materials produced by, or for, us for any purpose without your further consent, and you waive your right to receive any payment from us in connection with such publication.

 

22. Photography On-Site

Professional photoshoots on either property are prohibited unless the member has rented out the space with the Le Sol Staff.  

 

23. Disciplinary Procedure

Conduct by a member or guest that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Le Sol may result in suspension or expulsion of such member or guest. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent, or abusive behavior or the communication of information concerning Le Sol affairs. Every member binds him/herself to abide by the rules, bylaws, and regulations of Le Sol at all times upon acceptance as a member. 

 

If Le Sol considers that any member’s (or their guests) conduct either inside or outside of the properties’ premises is contrary to the interests of Le Sol, we may with immediate effect expel the member or guest from the Le Sol premises and/or suspend or terminate that member’s membership without having to give any reason to such member or guest. An expelled member may not return to Le Sol as a guest, and a refund of the expelled member’s subscription will be at the discretion of Le Sol. 

 

Any member who willfully removes, damages, or destroys any property belonging to Le Sol or to members or guests on the premises, will be liable to suspension or termination of their membership.

 

24. Constitution

Le Sol is constituted to encourage non-political social, wellness, and recreational activities.

 

25. Rights and Privileges of Membership

A member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the Le Sol properties granted to a person in their capacity as a member and shall be bound by these rules, but shall have no proprietary rights in any of the premises or in respect of property of Le Sol.

 

26. Le Sol Branding Rights 

Members and their guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, or other identifying features of Le Sol without obtaining the specific prior written approval of Le Sol as to the specific use.

 

You hereby expressly recognize that the Le Sol brand is the valid, unique, and exclusive property of Le Sol, and members, guests, or any outside party may not use or create, or authorize others to produce, use or create, the Le Sol brand for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, invitations, and e-mail messages) that utilize the Le Sol logo or brand items without Le Sol’s prior written consent.

 

27. Use of Equipment and Facilities 

Use of any equipment or facilities available at Le Sol properties is entirely at the risk of a member and/or their guest. You will also be required to complete a health commitment statement confirming that you are in good health for any equipment or facilities where we deem this necessary. 

 

When using any equipment or facilities available at Le Sol, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment or facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes your use of them while under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.


 

28. Accidents and Injuries

We want all our members and guests to relax and enjoy the activities and facilities available at our properties in safety. Members and their guests agree to observe the House rules and any signs published or displayed on our properties at any time and to take reasonable precautions when moving around the grounds or using the facilities at either property.

 

If a member or guest has an accident or suffers any injury at or in the vicinity of one of our properties, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. As well as wanting to check on a member or guest’s well-being, this information is needed in order to help us comply with our health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.

 

29. Liability of Le Sol

All items brought into a Le Sol property are brought and left entirely at the risk of a member, or their guests. Le Sol, its staff, and/or agents shall not be liable to any member or guest for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to a member or guest to the extent caused by the negligence of Le Sol, its staff and/or agents. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a member or guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.

 

The Member will not hold the Organization liable for any tangible or intangible damage that might happen to them while participating in the membership on either the Le Sol House (734 W Canty St. Dallas, Texas 75208) property of the Château Le Sol (717 N Vernon St. Dallas, Texas 75208). 

 

30. Interpretation of the Rules

In the event of any dispute arising as to the meaning or interpretation of these rules, the matter shall be referred to the Le Sol Team, whose decision with respect to your membership shall be final and without appeal. These rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with United States law and each member agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of local and federal courts.

 

The Member agrees that the Organization cannot guarantee any results from their membership. Any negative or positive results that might occur during the membership result from the Member’s own personal choices. 

 

31. Amendments to the House Rules

Le Sol may change the property rules from time to time, and we will inform members when these changes occur.
