From the historic charm of Amalfi to the quiet elegance of Praiano, the coastline offers more than just beauty, it offers a way of being. This is our guide to doing the Amalfi Coast the Le Sol way: slow, immersive, and rich with the kind of details that linger long after you’ve left.
Le Sol Travel: Amalfi Coast Recap

Where to Stay
Amalfi Coast Hotels
Miramalfi: A cliffside escape where every room feels suspended above the sea, offering panoramic views, crisp modern design, and a seaside pool deck that makes it hard to leave for anything but limoncello.
Casa Angelina: A serene, all-white haven in Praiano where minimalist design meets sweeping sea views—offering a sense of calm, light, and quiet luxury high above the Amalfi Coast.

Villa Treville: A secluded cliffside retreat in between Amalfi and Positano, where cinematic history meets coastal elegance—once the home of director Franco Zeffirelli, now a boutique haven of lush gardens, sea-view suites, and timeless Mediterranean glamour.
Santa Caterina: a historic Art Nouveau villa perched on the cliffs of Amalfi, offering timeless Italian elegance with terraced gardens, sea-view rooms adorned with Vietri tiles, and a private beach club accessible via a glass elevator.
Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi Coast: Set high above Ravello with sweeping views that feel almost surreal, Caruso is an 11th-century palace turned timeless escape. With frescoed ceilings, terraced gardens, and an infinity pool that floats between sky and sea, it’s a place where history and elegance meet in perfect stillness. Borgo Santandrea: Tucked into the cliffs near Amalfi, Borgo Santandrea is a design-lover’s dream mid-century meets Mediterranean, wrapped in hand-painted tiles and sea-salted air. With private beach access, curated interiors, and panoramic suites, it offers a deeply refined take on coastal living.
When to go to the Amalfi Coast
We recommend the following months to our clients who desire a more intentional in local-like experience. Late May–Early June: Just before peak season - perfect for mild weather and fewer crowds. September: The locals' favorite - warm waters, golden light, and a slowed-down rhythm. Avoid August unless seeking buzz over peace. A friendly reminder - the Amalfi Coast hotels close from November-March for their off-season.
What to Do (Besides Swim & Sip Wine)
We'll keep it quick and to the point - meant to not be your typical travel check-list, but slow and memory making experiences.
Private boat day to Capri or Li Galli islands (with a Le Sol-preferred captain)
Ceramic shopping in Vietri sul Mare
A morning dip at your hotel’s private beach club or dock. PRO TIP If you're choosing a hotel in Amalfi based off which Beach Club your hotel will give you access to, here are our top 3 choices: 1. Santa Caterina, Vibe: Classic Italian elegance meets Riviera ease 2. Borgo Santandrea, Vibe: Secluded, stylish, serene
3. Hotel Miramalfi, Vibe: Casual-cool with unbeatable views
Where to Eat: Long Lunches & Limoncello Nights
Lunches -
Lo Scoglio: a favorite among chefs for spaghetti with zucchini and dreamy views.
Casa e Bottega: located in Prariano, this spot is perfect for breakfast or lunchtime and when you're feeling like something fresh, light and a little different.
Maria Grazia: located near Lo Scoglio, this spot is similar vibes, just a tad more laid back.

Dinners -
La Sponda: not only is this spot at the Le Sirenuse one of the very top tables in Positano, but it is also arguably the most romantic spot for a dinner along the Amalfi.
Ristorante La Strada: one of our very favorite spots to 'eat like a local' - we visited La Strada during our stay at Casa Angelina and were able to walk!
Li Galli: an intimate Michelin-starred spot is set inside Hotel Villa Franca, which claims the highest perch in Positano, and the restaurant just off the lobby takes advantage of that position with floor-to-ceiling glass walls.
Le Sol Touch: How We Plan Amalfi Differently
At Le Sol Travel, we believe the Amalfi Coast is best seen slowly. Through windows rolled down on cliffside drives, through lunches that turn into late swims, and through hotels that feel like a dream carved into the coastline. Whether you want a honeymoon with every detail set or a quiet return to an old favorite, we craft itineraries that are both seamless and deeply personal.
