Dallas Museums Field Trip | Kurio x Le Sol

Led by Kurio (@kurioexperiences) founder & art historian, Katherine Stephens, this intimate 3-hour experience will explore new ways of seeing and thinking about art and where and how the visual arts stimulate our senses and enhance our lives. 

Arrive at Le Sol House at 1:30pm for a coffee or glass of natural wine and a short introduction to the field trip. We will leave for the Dallas Museum of Art promptly at 2pm. The next few hours will include a thoughtfully guided tour of 19th-20th century European paintings in the DMA's collection and of a selection of outdoor sculptures at the Nasher Sculpture Center. This will be followed by a tasting at "Afro Mingei," a project by Theaster Gates that merges Japanese and African American cultures through food and drink as well as ceramics, music, and ambiance. 

Your ticket includes beverages at Le Sol House, transportation to the museum district, entry to the museums, the "Afro Mingei" tasting, and transportation back to Le Sol House. This event has a limited number of spots.
