WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal life energy. Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki’s ki-energies flow out of the practitioner’s body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient’s body.

 WHO NEEDS REIKI? Our modern world creates many challenges, and often it leads to stress, illness, and other mental and physical challenges. Reiki treatment aims to teach you how to self-heal. If you are experiencing any challenges in life, you may want to experience a new holistic approach. Feel rejuvenated, alert, and stress-free and in other cases, learn to deal with chronic injuries or illnesses in ways to get you a step closer to living the life you want.  

Great for Reiki beginners, parents, caregivers, healers, children and health professionals are invited to learn, practice and share together. This class is designed for individuals interested in a simple yet effective healing therapy to treat and balance the whole person - mind, body and spirit.  

First degree Reiki practice is easy to learn. Most people practice in bed, while falling asleep or awakening, so Reiki integrates easily into even the busiest lifestyle.  

Reiki I is taught in a 4-6 hour session that is equally divided between instruction and hands-on practice. During Reiki I training, the student will be given an attunement to properly adjust their chakras and energy pathways to link them to the Reiki source and accommodate their ability to channel Reiki's healing energy to heal themselves and others.

The remainder of the Reiki I training class is spent in hands-on practice treating other students. Massage tables will be set up in the classroom and the instructors will demonstrate techniques and provide coaching and advice to facilitate the student acquiring the necessary comfort level to start work as a Reiki practitioner. At the conclusion of the class, the student will be given a personalized certificate documenting their completion of the necessary training and providing evidence of their certification as a Reiki Level I practitioner.
