Marison Clayton

Marison began practicing yoga at age 17 as a means of recovery from cross-country running. During her years in university, she continued practicing as a daily ritual and decided she would eventually train to be a teacher. She finished her 200-hour certification in early 2020 at Super Yoga Palace and is currently training in Katonah Yoga. Her personal yoga practice focuses on ashtanga, hatha, and yin and she has practiced under Dean Hollingsworth of Dallas Ashtanga Yoga Shala and Nevine Michaan of Katonah Yoga. Her classes are inspired by these practices, the seasons, curated playlists, and whatever fantasy book she’s currently reading. Marison joined the le sol team in spring 2023, when she returned to Dallas after living in Madrid for a year. In her classes, you can expect to find creative ways to connect movements with breath and feel autonomy over your own practice, while not taking yourself too seriously. She creates a space for students of all levels to feel at home in their bodies.
